In 1882, Domenico Vergnano opened his first drying facility in Chieri, near Turin, with a mission that remains unchanged today: to create the perfect espresso that captures the soul of Italy in every sip. Under the leadership of CEO Carolina Vergnano, the company has also done pioneering work in the social sphere. In 2018, she launched the Women in Coffee programme, one of the first large-scale initiatives in the coffee industry aimed at empowering women throughout the coffee chain.
